What is Wild and Wondrous Women All About?

About

While Suzi was studying art therapy, she came across "Shinrin-yoku," the Japanese method of forest bathing. Essentially it means therapy in nature, using your senses to connect to your surroundings as a way of relaxation.

As a mother of three and in the thick of menopause, she was extremely cognicent of the often underestimated strains women experience in life. Rather than bury the struggles, she sought a way to bring connection, creativity and calm together with meaningful intent.

Wild and Wondrous Women is the result.

Once a month she leads groups on art in nature sessions starting with a gentle hike. Participates find a spot to sit and tune into whatever they are feeling, using art to express their emotions. Creations can be shared or remain private during a connection time with tea and if her baking turns out, homemade cake.

NEXT SESSION: Thursday, August 13, 2026. 5 p.m.

Book a spot through the online shop.
