Stormy skies and wheat fields are one of my favorite things to paint. I am drawn to the energy of the wind  and how it moves the wheat and grasses with such wild abandon. Whether I'm back in Scotland or driving around my rural home town in  Colorado, I can  never tire of looking at these gold and indigo scenes.
