Summer hikes on Buffalo Pass in the Yampa Valley are a favorite for me, friends and our pooches. We have a favorite picnic spot by a creek where wild blueberries are in abundance and the flowers lay like a carpet around us. It's a wonderful place to paint and somewhere I spent a lot of time.
